Welcome to the OPCA 2017 Fall Conference Registration!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from OPCA. You may also choose to pay your fees by check, either by mail or in person at check-in.

Handlers w/ K9: $200.00 After August 15th the cost increases to $250.00 
OPCA Trainers: $50.00 
Classroom Only/Administrators/Narcotic & K9 DA: $50.00

PATROL SPEAKERS

Monday 09/18

0830-1200 Tactical Movement/Officer Safety

                Sgt. Jason Nall is an 18 year veteran of the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office where he currently supervises the interagency narcotics task force (CCITF).  He spent 15 years on the CCSO SWAT team with roles in entry, explosive breaching and assistant team leader.  In addition, he spent 4 years as a K9 handler with the CCSO.  Sgt. Nall instructs with the Oregon Tactical Officers Association (OTOA).

Sgt. Clint Pierce is a 16 year veteran of the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.  He is currently a patrol supervisor.  He has 13 years on the CCSO SWAT team and has been the assistant team leader in charge of the inner perimeter and the explosive breaching program.     

1300-1500 Improvised Explosive Devices and Booby Traps: Introduction and Tactical Considerations

Officer Bob Miller has been with the Portland Police Bureau for 17 years of which the past five have been assigned to the Metro Explosive Disposal Unit.

1500-1700 Patrol Medical Response: Medical Training for the Law Enforcement Officer

John Krummenacker is an investigator with the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office.  He previously worked as a patrol Sergeant for the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office where he oversaw the agency’s emergency medical team and department instruction.  In addition to his time in patrol he worked as a Detective in Homicides and Violent Crimes, Child Abuse and Professional Standards.  He has a background in both civilian and military emergency medicine in addition to his 18 years with the CCSO.
